Dr. Charles Gardner
Dr. Charles Gardner graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1974. He worked as a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in the state of New Hampshire until 1995 when he relocated to Texas. He became a certified Holistic Health Care provider in 1992 and a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 1998. Dr. Gardner worked in private practices in Houston, and Killeen, Texas until 2003 when he joined the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood as a credentialed Chiropractic provider to our active duty military.
Dr. Gardner took over the Belton Chiropractic clinic in January of 2009 where he currently practices utilizing a full range of therapeutic modalities. Dr. Gardner continuously keeps up to date with a variety of educational classes, ensuring that his patients achieve enhanced wellness using the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care. Dennette Gardner, M.S., LPC, CCH –S. LPC-S
Dennette Gardner is the wife of Dr. Gardner. When the Gardner’s first met in Houston, TX in 2000, they had a vision of opening a holistic health care clinic that treated the whole person including emotional and spiritual well-being. Belton Chiropractic & Wellness is the manifestation of that vision. Dennette is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who serves clients in the evenings at the clinic. She enjoys working along with Dr. Gardner on the same people, (his patients are also her clients). It is the Gardner’s belief that by providing their customers with the full range of alternative modalities, (chiropractic, acupuncture, and counseling) full wellness can be achieved by anyone.
Mrs. Gardner graduated from Tarleton State University in 2008 with a Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology. Her specialty is bi-lingual counseling in Spanish, so she offers all types of counseling including adult, individual, and marriage counseling. Counseling issues addressed include marital conflict, anger management, anxiety disorders, depression, family conflict, life transitions, and family of origin issues. Mrs. Gardner is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. In hypnosis sessions, Mrs. Gardner can assist the client to make changes in his or her behavior including anxiety, smoking cessation, weight loss, and phobias.
Mrs. Gardner is retired from being the school counselor at Meridith-Dunbar Early Childhood Academy in Temple, TX where she loved working with children ages 3 to 5.
Lisa Wiseman, LMT
Lisa was born in Houston Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1993 with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing. She has worked in Women’s Health and Surgery. After marrying her husband in 2000, his career in the Army has taken them to four different states; they have finally made it back to Texas. As her husband’s military career comes to a close Lisa’s second career is just beginning. In May of 2019 she started attending Advanced Massage Therapeutics School of Massage in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated in April of 2020. She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Injury massage, and Craniosacral Therapy. Lisa has two children in high school and loves to watch them play their favorite sports. Besides her children, she loves to read and travel.
